We’d love to have you join us at the shop at 10 am on the first and third Wednesday of the month for our Bible study. We also have our Activity Support Group that meets on the second Thursday of the month in the evenings. We meet somewhere different each month for this, so please call the shop for details. On Thursday, Feb. 9th we will be meeting at 6pm at Meant to Bead on Central Avenue.. Please join us as we help each other.

**We have some very attractive, post-mastectomy bras that you’ll want to see.

**New Surgical Bra ….. This is a wonderful latex free, attractive compression garment that reduces bruising and swelling while decreasing the incidence of hematomas after invasive breast procedures. The comfortable fabric feels great after breast augmentation, reduction, reconstructive surgery, or lumpectomy, to name a few.

**Light breast prosthesis… We have a prosthesis available from American

Breast Care that is one of the lightest made. These conveniently slip in your bra. **Squigle Enamel Saver Toothpaste..

This contains no irritating detergents, harsh abrasives, bleaches or strong flavors. It is gentle to your mouth and is made to prevent ulcers from cancer treatments. We also will be carrying a new special toothbrush that is specifically gentle on gums and helpful during treatments.

**New Chillows Pillow… This is a thin, soft, medical grade, non-electric thermo-regulating device designed to keep your pillow cool. Activate it one time, leave it in your pillow full time, and it will give you a soothing effect for a good night’s sleep.

** Menopause pajamas and Cleavage Coolers are also available.

**Lymphadema charms….Are now available if you would prefer not to wear a lymphadema bracelet. These can be specially ordered. It is important to alert others that procedures such as blood pressures, blood draws, IV starts, etc. should not be done in an extremity in which lymph nodes have been removed.

Insurance Eligibility…With the new year, often there is new eligibility for bras and prosthesis. Many insurance companies allow 4 new bras per year, and a new prosthesis every two years. You may want to check with your insurance company to find out your coverage or if any changes have occurred. You also may be eligible for these if you have lost or gained weight and your Dr. agrees they are deemed necessary. Please call the shop to schedule a fitting if this applies to you. (419) 471-0603.

**Our third annual golf outing with Monroe Cancer Connection will be Saturday, May 6th 2006 at White ford Valley Golf Course. This outing will benefit a survivor in need. If you would like to nominate someone to be the beneficiary, please stop by the shop or call for nominee forms. Come join us for a good cause. Sign up to participate at the shop.
